C'treat and Bombas Goulds de Mexico to open office in Cuidad del Carmen, Mexico

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS, USA and TIZAYUCA, HIDALGO, MEXICO – Sept. 29, 2015 – ITT's (NYSE: ITT) C'treat and Bombas Goulds de Mexico ("BGM") brands announced today they have formed an alliance that will enable them to deliver proven large-scale seawater, potable water and high-purity water solutions to the offshore energy industry in Mexico. As part of the alliance, BGM is now an authorized sales representative of C'treat products and services with exclusive territory rights in the offshore market in Mexico.

C'treat is a global market leader in offshore reverse osmosis seawater desalination systems and has a very strong reputation for quality, performance, ease-of-use and on-time delivery.  C'treat focuses exclusively on offshore platform customers. Goulds Pumps is a leader in the global pump market and its BGM manufacturing plant near Mexico City supplies API pumping systems to markets in Latin American markets. BGM and C'treat have announced their plans to open an office in Cuidad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico to provide customer project sales support, aftermarket parts and offshore-qualified service.

"This strategic ITT alliance demonstrates our growing commitment to supporting the world oil and gas market and the offshore industry, in particular," said Aris Chicles, president of ITT's Industrial Process business. "The Mexican offshore market is growing rapidly and this alliance will allow us to enhance our presence and bring our customers additional support and services through a one-stop solution for offshore platforms."

"We've delivered more than 40 systems to Pemex, including many large-scale, multi-million dollar seawater and potable water systems," said C'treat General Manager Brian Jacoby. "Our Mexico clients value our long-lasting, high-quality systems that are delivered on time, and we are very excited about the local customer support BGM will provide."

"Combining C'treat's existing systems with Bombas Goulds offshore pumping solutions allows our customers to award a single contract for an offshore platform's full water work scope," said BGM General Manager Rodrigo Angeles. "It's a compelling advantage for platform builders who need large-scale contractors to deliver quality projects on time so as to avoid construction delay penalties."
